Four boxes of halves: skunks. Although I did get both 2007's to complete the full run of NIFC 2002-2012.

Halves totals: $11500 searched (21 boxes), 18 40%, 1.95 90%

Total silver for the week: 0.145 oz. - 2 Roosies. Really had high hopes for getting a full ounce this week; fell miserably short.

Next week I have 6 boxes of halves and 4 of dimes on order. Plus whatever I go scrounging for earlier in the week.

I only got 2 out of my first $500+ in dimes this week, so it was a nice last-minute bonus that helps put the averages back in the range of normal. Thanks for the encouragement!

1946 wheat cent shaved down to perfect dime size. I bet some kid made this as a slug in his garage 60 years ago.

I think that is pretty cool. Even better than getting a regular 1946 worth $0.03.

Box 4: (2) 1964, (3) 40%, 1982 proof, 1865 French 10 centimes (see other thread!)

Halves totals: $13500 searched (27 boxes), 27 40%, 4.95 90%

Friday: 4 boxes dimes. I always get Loomis, but today my bank had String and Sons.
All skunks. What a letdown after last night's halves.

New dime totals: $5925 searched; 29 Roosies, 1 Merc, 1 Barber.

Two more halves boxes to pick up tomorrow before I calc my weekly AG total. Hope they're as good as the last two.

5th and 6th boxes of halves for the week: both skunks. Also lost one of my two branches where I've been ordering halves. I upped my order from 2 to 4 this week, and got them, but the teller told me she couldn't order any more boxes because they get charged and don't pass the charge on to customers. Hmm, okay. The other branch I think orders lots more boxes for businesses, so hopefully I'm still cool there. But I think I'll keep my order at 2 a week for a while just to be safe.

Last week's silver total: 2.42 oz. I think that must be my best week ever.

This week I only have 2 halves boxes for sure - going to try to pick up 2 more at a bank that has 2 on the shelves but likes to charge fees. I'll have to up my dime volume this week to compensate.

Tuesday: $80 Loomis dimes: 1945 Merc! Only my 2nd Merc ever. Somewhere between VG and F condition. Nice way to break a $1280 dime skunk streak.

New dime totals: $6255 searched; 29 Roosies, 2 Mercs, 1 Barber. One silver every $195 searched.

I was getting pretty burned out on halves, with just a single 40%er in my last 10.5 boxes (over the last 3 weeks). Today sure turned that around. At least I'm back to an average of one per box now!
