Well not much to report here but I did find a few pieces. The owner of the field I hunt told me he only plowed the front half of my best field. But He actually plowed the section I have found MOST of my finds. He a cool farmer. Any way here is my finds. First a broken "notched" axe very damaged but when I saw those notches... Next are a couple of pieces. A nice little scribe on the top. On the bottom left is a nice triangle base, probably woodland era like most of this area BUT it actually has flutes. Sorry my Camera is not better. The middle point bottom is 3/4 inch long and typical of the wood land triangles I do find. BTW the bottom left one and the middle bottom one are like most I find ultra thin. Thanks for reading.

Very very cool finds!!!! Thanks for sharing them :) I am in constant search for an axe! Someday :)

Thanks all for the great comments! I also post the similar article and photos at my Myspace page blog. Just search for "zeawolf", but without the quotation marks.

Bootybay... I am from Moorefield in Hardy County West-By-God-Virginia!
If you and your ole' man get out here I'll show you my SMALL field where I have found all my WV stuff. While not a big field I am under the impression it was or is near a hunting/short time home site of the Susquehannocks or maybe even some Seneca. After the 87 flood some bones were found on the OTHER end of the county which belonged to the Susquehannocks from PA and VA.
Respects,
~Z~ aka Stan

Shoot I would have jumped up and down with that axe. To bad about the damage, but hey and axe is an axe, Razor
