Prospecting
I believe this maybe from the 1950's to 1970's era (not 100% certain). Painting seems well done and probably a unlisted artist as I have looked
at over 800 signatures online and cannot find this one. All help in translating this is appreciated, thanks to all in advance....

The stamp is difficult to see because of the photo. Just a guess, but the first character of the signature looks like 李 lǐ (pronounced Lee) which is a common Chinese last name.

Thanks Yang Hao,

Better picture of the artist stamp and also on the back written in pencil is a name but I cannot make it out.
Opinions on what it says written in pencil are appreciated....
