It’s very pretty, but not terribly valuable, I’m afraid.

This is post-war generic export ware made in a European style and looks to be copied from a French (Versailles?) pattern. Imports to the US resumed in 1947 when Japan was re-building its economy and were required to be marked “(Made in) Occupied Japan” until 1949. From then the word “Occupied” could be dropped, although occupation didn’t come to an end until 1952.

You can usually pick up full sets (tea/coffee pot, sugar bowl, milk jug/creamer with four cups and saucers) for around $50. Yours is rather nice and might fetch a little more on a good day.
