Found this 6 months ago seem to think it could date around 1910? any idea

I'd say that's a good guess. Looks Edwardian to me ,too.

With the c hook it could be as late as the 1930-40's. Or much earlier.
It appears by craftsmanship to be later than 1900 though. Mid 1900's.
