Johnny and I kill it finding twenty two silvers!

Johnny was not available to hunt yesterday, I told him I would save that spot for the two of us. I didn't hunt yesterday, we headed today to the same lake but I wanted to try a different spot first. We ended up with 15 silvers from the first spot and 8 from the second spot (where we left off Monday) needless to say I do believe Johnny is SO hooked now on metal detecting. I found 4 Mercs and 6 Rosies, a War Nickel, a Indian Head Cent (barely recognizable) a religious medallian, and a Buffalo Nickel. Johnnies totals are with him so you'll have to see from his pix, two silver rings, one silver medallian, two Washington Quarters and Mercs and Rosies. His religious medallian is the coolest one I ever seen, I have good closeup pix of it. Great day, I might hold out until he can go again, going to be tough, but its worth it to see that smile on his face!

I'm going back there today, sort of, I have a couple more spots on that lake I need to prospect. Before I left yesterday I ran down the beach(in the water, waterjogging) about a hundred yards from our hot spot, third target in I hit a 1947 Rosie. I skipped over 100 yards then hunted three targets! The couple other spots are half mile up the lake. Pretty sweet leaving my lake (where I found the Halfs) and still finding virgin spots somewhere else.

Forgot to mention one of the cool finds I had come up in the scoop yesterday was a live 45 caliber round. The casing is marked 1942
