found these 3 jugs under a barn floor, never opened the one with the cork, I'm afraid a genie will come out and grant me three wishes jug4.jpg

Nice find here. Any markings on them. I have an 1860's permission and always thought of going under the barn and house. Maybe this year.

Personally I'd be popping that cork and getting some of that paint remover for cleaning up some finds of mine. :laughing7:

Those jugs are vintage and kinda rare at this stage in life.

I may come back and vote Banner after I think about it. About time some jugs got a Banner vote!!!

Hope you are not as old as those jugs. Did you ever pop that cork? I wouldn't be afraid of the genie. I have had my three wishes prepared for years now.

don't know the age of the jugs, I shook the corked one and no liquid in it, I'll leave the cork in it for now, I open something in my cellar a few years ago, and a year later, the cellar was infested with spiders, been killing them for years haha, guess I should have cleaned them before I brought them in, on another note, I cleaned some in the back yard years ago and brought home devil weed, it spread all over, had to burn the yard to get rid of it, fought with it for 5 years
