Since halves have become scarce around the casino July was mostly a wheatie month.

Wheats - 31 (year - 129)

Wartime nickels - nada (year - 17)

40% - 3 (year - 62)

90% - nada (year - 3)

I averaged one wheatie a day, pretty good.

Yes, those ARE pretty good results from casino searching only! Imagine what you might find if you start

Just found my first war nickel! 1943-S...needed it for my book too. Found several other nickels I needed also including a 1938-S (only 4.1 million made) All the nickels came from a $100 box. 10 wheats (from $25) and 3 40% halves. (from $150)
