Nox 800, Etrac, F75, AT Pro. Last two for sale.
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Hi Folks, having two very nice pieces of equipment go bad on me. Finding no or poor support.

Nothing worse than in the middle of a hunt and you realize you are missing targets and carrying useless tools.

It took a few phone calls and some patience, but I got a working set of tools again. Buy American, or stay home.

I just traded 1 of my Garrett propointers for. minelab brand and I'm well satisfied. The light is much brighter. The only drawback is the diameter of the body on ML is a larger than Garrett but I like it well enough to trade my other Propointer for another ML if anyone's willing.

My Garrett propointer on/off button failed in the on position. The business end of this almost two year old unit was so worn that it was no longer the correct length. I use it as a digging tool, pushing it into sand and loose ground to find the target. Really beat it up. I was able to use it still to finish the hunt by simply loosening the battery cap to turn it off.
I sent it into Garrett in Texas, USA, and they completely rebuilt the unit. It looks brand new! About a ten day turnaround from shipping to receivng back. During that ten days I bought another one! THEY ABSOLUTELY ROCK and I couldn't imagine going hunting without one. Now I have a spare.

Garrett makes EXCELLENT products.

Pond guru does a good comparison on YouTube between the 2. The brighter light is enough for me to prefer the ML.

Is your X-1 in decent shape? For sale possibly?

Well when I got that used minelab recently, the detector had less than 10 hours of use on it, so I doubt the x-1 has 2 hours on it, it looks brand new, but I'm not a charter member so I guess I cannot sell it.
Here anyway.

Someone will be by here to let us know in a few minutes. It's $20 per year to upgrade. Pretty good value in my opinion.

Garret replaced the broken Propointer with no fuss. You can bet I baby this one. I wont hunt without it. Buy American, and thank you Garret.

Don't know if this fits any of the problems with the propointer above, but mine got to acting quirky and would behave for a while after putting in a new battery. Then before a lot of use would start again. I put a quarter between the battery and the end cap which put more pressure on the battery contacts and haven't had any trouble since then. This may be helpful to someone.

I've had my Garrett pin pointer since it first came out and it has never falsed or have given me a single problem.
