Nice finds. I've never dug a sign before. Any embossing on that ladys leg(bitters?)

There is no embossment both ladies leg bitters one is holding the sign you cant see in the pic
 
Is the insulator embossed? Doesn't look like your run of the mill Brookfield or Hemingray.

Yes it a HEMINGRAY NO 9 on the side it says PATENTED MAY 2 1893
