You can probably see where I’m going with this...
I’m just not sure. Any opinions? Found N. Cal. Near an encampment among flakes.
Flattish on one side and bi-faced on the other.

Would have just blended in with other chunks of quartz except for the unusual shaped tip. I don’t want to jump to conclusions. It does feel sharp and sure looks like it may have been worked on that right side. It’s just so small and difficult to see with the naked eye. Sorry about the nasty fingernail.
Why can’t I just find 3/4 groove axes or something obvious instead of rocks that require imagination and magnifaction?
