Nice finds. I love old buttons. Those buttons, unless you see a break in them, can be straightened if you like. Heat with a propane torch. Plunge into ice water. Straighten slightly, Repeat the entire procedure. They lie in their cases well if you do that. Might have to do it 5-10 times to keep from breaking them.

Thanks for the info. I will probably break them my luck. Maybe in the future when i got a ton of them ill try that
 
I haven't broken one yet. Going a little a time is the secret.
 
BTW use two pair of pliers, not fingers!:laughing7:

A trio of pre civil war flat buttons would put a pretty big grin on my mug. I love buttons and the older the better. Your little domed button is darn cute. Excellent hunting buddy.:headbang:

Nice buttons!! Its nice to save old buttons i like them even if thay do look ugly just thinking how thay get were thay were its neat
