Another very nice day here so I popped it to the river again. To bad about the seal piece :( but all in all I enjoyed my day.It turned into a button day for me.But I'm not complaining it was fun.
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Wow, your site looks to be unstoppable, very wide array of finds. Congrats and looking forward to your next outing. I have a propensity towards buttons. Arty

You are Colonially doing it, Pete. :headbang: It is just a matter of Colonial time when you will dig a cob or a spectacle buckle. :headbang: I am loving those pottery sherds!

The woodland pottery is several thousand years old. It is a cord wrapped paddle type typical of ancient americans. Not that glazed crock type of early settlers.
You need to keep your eyes peeled for artifacts often they used the same sites. It is and always will be location, location location.
Nice finds sir!
