Nice! Was the proof easily noticeable? Do you date check your dimes? I personally only rim check as date checking would take forever. I'm sure I've overlooked a few proofs in my CRHing career. Congrats!

No, the vast majority of proofs are not silver, there are silver proof sets made from 1992-present (and naturally from '64 and prior) where the quarter, dime and half-dollar are 90% silver but these are incredibly rare to find CRHing (Though some people have found them).

Clad proofs are fairly easy to spot by rim checking since they will often be much thicker than business strike coins with well-defined reeding.
