Tesoro Tiger Shark 8 and 10" coils (Interchangeable)
Minelab E-Trac with Sun Ray Probe
Primary Interest:
Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Got out today on my boat for maybe the last time. I might take a ride tomorrow. Water is way too cold to dive in so I waded with my CZ-21 and carbon fiber Stealth scoop.

Best find is an Artcarved 4.60 gram 14K band. Skull isn't marked but rang up as silver. Last ring is a tungsten carbide piece of trash. Wind was kicking up the waves but it was pretty clear water.

Trick or Treat!

Great job cleaning up these Great Lakes.

That’s the way it’s done, cold or not, one last time, you made some very nice finds...Congratulations!

Looks like a bunch of nice recoveries

Nice recoveries on the 14K and the skull.
I think it's the first time reading a description as this. "Last ring is a tungsten carbide piece of trash." Usually folks are all :hello2: about digging/recovering one.:laughing7:

Yes, until they go to sell it. Jewelry stores charge over 300.00 for them and you can't get 0ver 5.00 for them on fee bay. I have a ton of them. In fact I gave over 20 away a couple of years ago. Nice sounding signal to find that in your scoop. YECH.

I could never figure it out why so much :hello2: when somebody gets one. Then again 12 cents a gram in scrap is worthwhile:laughing7:. Folks are better off buying gold jewelry in the beginning and forgetting about this metal.

One more piece of gold for the treasure chest ain't bad. Will you be doing any land hunting? Your E-trac must be getting a complex sitting on standby? LOL!:dontknow::laughing7:

Scuba, great way to end the water hunting!! Are you going back to Utah this winter?

I paid 70.00 for my tungsten wedding band. Whoever pays 300.00 for one is a sucker. What a way to end the year... Congrats
