Just moved to Columbus

Hey all,
I just moved up here to columbus and wanted to know if there were any spots up here in the area that good places to go where you wont get in trouble. Just me and the kids so I want to keep it leagal.

Oh man are there lots of parks in that city. There are a few detectorists in the area...Salty Dog, iwannafindsome, vern, seeker41. Most are on either the White's forum or BuckeyeTreasureHunters.com

Yep places all over.Ive been wanting to hit that park right behind cosi.the one with the slant hill where everyone sits.

Well I guess its good to know there arent alot of us around these parts. whats the deal with the parks though? Are you aloud to hunt them? I dont need to go to jail for a nickle! Acevillav hunts the wood chips which produced $.03 for me yesterday at a small park. but what about the grassy areas?
