just not right - found 4 "gold chains" roadside in a highly dope infested area

after spotting them laying there glittering in the sun and pulling over to get them -- turned out to be gold plate "bling" necklaces

and if you wouldn't have stopped and picked them up, you would have had bad
dreams for many months......about a might-u-ben. You did what a true THer
would have done.....stopped and looked. We just can't help it. And there
ain't no medicine for it, either.

yeh there was a "drug" related shooting in the general area where the chains were the night before on the news * -- when I saw the "shiny" stuff my treasure hunting mind kicked into gear -- 2 dope dealers got into "turf fight" -dealer A grabs dealers B "chains" while in a fist fight they break and fall to the ground then either A or B whips out a gun and chase the other -and shoots em --bang , bang , bang --cops now on the way -- so the shooter can not stay to find or collect gold chains ( so chains get left behind) all this ran thru my mind in a split second.

Checked the local discount store that sells some pretty pricey diamond rings. They no longer sell "Gold chains" only sterling silver with 14k electroplate. Doubt many gold chains will turn up nowadays. But treasure hunters like us will dream on ! CARM

When I read what you said: "Highly dope infested area". I immediately thought you must have been detecting around hippy hill in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. That's one extremely wierd place to hunt at.......... Nice eyeball find!
