Haven't been here in quite a while. I have been collecting doves for about 2 years now and thought I would share my latest acquisition. 5.75", Burlington from Pike County, MO. It was found in 1916 and was in the BW Stephens collection. Pictured in Legends of Prehistoric Art Volume #1

more than a grand and less than two... and thought that was a steal for a old piece with such good provenance. Rare to be able to track a piece that far back.

That's a whole lot of Burlington! Doves are a favorite of most collectors, and that one is outstanding.
