Well sadly I think the dog died, but not from the accident. I'd like to think he went on to lead a full life and died happily perusing his dreams We all have to go sometime

I think this is an important thing for the insurance companies to get in on. They could start charging dogs for insurance. They could lobby some jerk in congress to pass a law saying that every owner of a dog should need insurance.
