New permission! I ended up stumbling upon this early 1700’s homesite that I was not aware of. Turned out to be a awesome spot. There was nothing on the old maps showing this homesite even existed. I started noticing old brick pieces, pottery, and shells. Next thing you know KABOOM! Two 1723 Wood's Hibernia Farthing Colonial Copper Coins (one is cut in half), 1784 1 Reale, 1963 Franklin Half Dollar, two large coat buttons, 1 blow hole button, and a thimble. Could only spend about 3 hours because it was getting dark outside. I will definitely be returning soon!

Nice patina on the Woods Hibernia and a Franklin halve is much harder to find than Spanish silver if you ask me

Nice silvers and beautiful coppers!

Sweet spot congrats!

Beautiful array of amazing coins and artifacts... congrats!!

I can see a few more goodies coming out of that sweet spot...

Oh my......what an amazing hunt. Beautiful 1700's booty! Congrats to you Scolino!!!!!

What a fantastic bunch of finds - good luck on the return hunt !

The soils are kind, congrats on the coppers and silver. Certainly on a the list for a return hunt.
Sometimes the unknown sites are the best.
Map recorders only documented the buildings at the time-nothing for the pre/post of the making.

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats on an awesome hunt.
Interesting that you pulled that modern Franklin from the same area. Maybe the site was occupied til that time and the house came down?
Looking forward to seeing what else comes out of the ground.
