This is my first gold ring found by the equinox 900 in the water about waste deep low tide. just received the yellow koss underwater headphones not expecting too much from these because I have had plenty experience with them on the Excalibur, which I recommend switching out, but that being said I will do that later. This was supposed to be set up for my 10 year-old son and he wants to dive under the water, however I have grown quite fond of the equinox 900. We seem to connect with the ease and please it gives me like the tones i understand well and the numbers have worked consistently well with my pre-trial gold runs, (checking gold rings and things to see what their ID numbers are prehunt ) works out great I’m looking to dive underwater soon, last week I tried out my D2 bone induction headphones, and I am rather disappointed, unless someone can tell me how to crank the hell out of the volume, so I can hear the targets or maybe I need to surgically implant them onto my cheekbones just saying wish they worked better. Any help would be appreciated with that headache🤷‍♂️🤔👍🏻🏴‍☠️

Congrats SNT! I recently picked up an X-Terra Elite to augment my Sovereign Elite & Dual Field PI. Can't wait to see how it does this Fall/Winter compared to my Sov. How would you say your NOX 900 compares against your Excal?

Are you running All Tones on your 900? My Sov tones are same as your Excal, so I'm running All Tones on my X-Terra Elite since I've been used to hearing All Tones on my Sov for the last 14 years.

Are you also using the grip vibration feature on your 900? Just thinking that using grip vibration along with waterproof headphones would give you the best of both worlds, i.e., ability to hear AND feel signals.

I used the vibration feature when my headphones crapped out one time. It works pretty well. Faint tones are a bit tough to feel, and there's no tone I.D. to help discriminate, so, you have to either dig it all, or, look at the target I.D. for help.

Nice ! Glad too see it tested positive. It also looks old & the stone (black onyx maybe?) looks a little beat up from knocking around in the ocean.
Playboy Corp. started in 1953 with the Marilyn Monroe issue & as the company grew over time, the rings got more & more stylish with diamonds etc. (I'm guessing). So, I wonder if your ring was an early version of the give-away gifts? Maybe It would be great if you could come across some other, similar early examples.
