Sentinel and I have stumbled upon a great site.. Before today, we had gotten a 1753 pillar one reale, 1845 halfdime, several coppers (10-12 approx), 2 confederate "I" buttons, CW navy button, CW marine corps button and a Belgian boot pistol in three hunts.. Today was no disappointment either.
Here are today's finds.. HH Jeff
My first dig was the Queen Victoria copper and is the same size as a US half cent which is what I thought it was.. Here's the IH before cleaning and the 1841 Queen Victoria fresh out of the mineral oil bath.

You can barely see the wreath design on the back of the Victoria

1871 IH after a small amount of cleaning

U.S. Life Saving Service 2-piece button, corner of a silver shoe buckle

Early Sling Buckle

Group Shot with general service vest button and Ring-tail Sharps
