I would guess it is used to break electronic circuit,perhaps in new piece before use...or its used to launch an icbm.....I would love to see it cleaned up a bit.I like it.

Novelty key by Backus Novelty Company, Smethport PA.

They made novelty clamps that could be unlocked by this key. There's a sample of this key in the tiny picture, bottom left of their home page.

Wow...amazing sluethery...yeah, I said it. Thanks. Some of the things I find are pretty wild just in my yard. As an example...1920's condom tin torn up pretty bad. I love this hobby
