I decided to stop at this old permission of mine on the way home from work..This week has been crazy with work for me, so i needed a hour to relax and swing. .
I knew there would not be much, but did not expect this!!!
This sucker was deep, like 10inch, had the 9inch coil on the deus, and it was just a wisper, but it hit in all directions, didn't even show any black on the horseshoe just a little audio squeak...
I would have to say this is my favorite button i ever dug!!!!!
Thanks for looking, and HH..
George

Agreed! It's just "ok" Vino. Lol

I love those one piece War of 1812 era buttons. That is a nice looking example!

Good show Vino. Really nice condition. Good to see you are out there recuing relics! GL&HH.

Vino, that is one very sweet button. And you did a great job on the research. It's in really good condition, but the neat thing, is that no one has touched that thing but you and the guy who buttoned his coat and thought he had it on him the last he checked. Maybe still has some black powder lodged in the nooks and crannys. That's just plain cool. WTG! Chance of more from there?

Beautiful button! Way to go!
