Went for a few hours last weekend at a small wooded site I had already hit a few times. I didn't dig many targets, but was listening for those blips amongst the iron.
The King George III surprised me b/c it was far older than the other coins (mid 1800s) that I've pulled from this spot. It was partially masked by a large chunk of iron. I tried some peroxide and then an olive oil soak. I cannot get a clear date off of it, but I think the last digit is a "1".
