I live in south texas too and I hate to say this, but it looks like a regular old texas rock to me. Of course, I could be wrong...

Thank you for looking Austin.

Here's one with some heavy patina. I would say they are almost a cross between a kerrville knife and a adze.

they look like uni-face knives, or uni-face end scrapers to me. They both often show signs of resharpened edges.

A nice flake fresh off the rock was often extremely sharp, and they would use till dull and then often times re-sharpen. Many simple tools like yours were used often, and are now often over-looked because many don't see or recognize the tell tale flaking like some of your pieces show.

rock knives ..nice.

Thanks for looking, all 3 have very define flaking and micro flaking on both sides of the worked edges. I know pictures don't always do justice.

Heres a kerrville

scrapers come in all shapes and sizes

Hey rock how ya been.
So would you classify these as a scraper?

I would have said scraper, but I'm a noob and the experts have already commented. Really cool stuff man, thanks for sharing.

Yes the flat ones we call flakers. They come on all shapes and sizes here. I always enjoy finding them always interesting.
