I found this with some other 1800's stuff on an old homesite.
Anyone know who made this or what it looked like new?
Many thanks,
Newt

How long is it Newt? I seem to remember grandpa, or someone, having a folding letter opener that had this type of design on it...

possibly one of this type knife that you could win at a carnival. If you could snag it in the concession that had the little dragline machines. This was many years ago and a knife with a semi-naked lady on it meant a lot to a twelve year old boy.

Is it long enought to be a straight razor? Is the lady embossed? Nice find, Breezie

I'm not sure about the length for a razor. The lady is embossed.
