Hi all,
I found this today when searching in a shoreline area that’s yielded some arrowheads in the past. It’s a piece of stone (rhyolite?) that’s looks like it’s been thinned down to a blade of sorts. Unfortunately the base is broken off. Could it be a part of a knife, or is it just a geofact? Thanks for lookin!

It looks good to me, nice even if broken.

Thanks for the replies! I'm glad to hear that I have an artifact. I'll definitely be searching the area more in the future :icon_thumleft:

Nice find.
As Uni noted. Definitely a bi-faced artifact. Likely made of a local lithic called Marblehead Rhyolite. It may be the tip that is missing.
Good eye for sure.
