Beautiful day in Bama today, so this afternoon I went huntin. Decided to go to my 'button' site. I parked in a different spot today and of course as soon as I get out of the car, I turn on the detector. First hit was a wheat penny, so there go my plans of climbing the mountain in search of more toe plates and buttons. A couple of hours later and diggin junque out the wazoo, I found the FOB. I've never heard of the company before. There is an address on the other side and I looked it up, but I guess they are long gone. I got a couple of pieces of pottery and thirteen cents in clad and of course the required bullets. Twas a fun day.

Must be nice livin in Bama! My daughter called today just as I was sitting down in the Barber's chair. She had to tell me it was about 70 degrees in Tenn. I was able to tell her it was a nice comfy 36 here!

I did get to do a little hunting yesterday though. I set a new world's record for depth on a fruit jar lid.

Take care Nana the Great and save some of those southern finds for me when I move down that way.
