Koss Headphones

Anyone know if the koss factory headphones are covered with the minelab warranty ? I bought the ctx3030 in October of 2012 and the plug end of the cord has come apart.

Why not just call Minelab up and ask them?? Hearsay is just that, go right to the source!!

Just wondering if anybody else has had any problems with the headphones and if minelab would replace them. I'm working out of state and don't have my warranty information with me.
