La Sal Mountains in the distance

I took this last Wednesday morning from a roadside stop going east on I70 west of Green River on top of what is called the San Rafael Swell. Down below would be the valley of the Green River and Moab at the base of the mountains in the distance. Over the years I've seen some wonderful sunrises in this region of Utah as I've pass through this area.

If I had a state to wander aimlessly it would be Utah! Who knows what's out there! Beautiful picture.

Yes, western mountains are always a sight to behold.
