The one's that I find are all 42, 43, 44. No 45's yet. I have found quite a few in the areas that I hunt. I especially like finding the bullets. Once cleaned, the rifling is as sharp as the day they left the bore.

those were practice rounds fired by aircraft practicing "beach straffing runs" for the up coming beach landings in the pacific ocean during WW2---from 1942, 1943 and 1944 by 1945 the us pilots had had enough practice from doing the real thing and from earlier training so 1945 shell casing are a bit rarer to find on the beaches a lot of flight training occured in florida back then --- see you got your gold guard dog with you .
