The first time i tried roll hunting i baught 310 dollars worth of halves and didnt find a single keeper so i decided it was a waste of time
so we got our income tax return check back and my wife went to the bank to deposit it and was going to return the 310 dollars worth of halves also she called me at work and i told her to wait to return the halves and instead get another 300 in halves from the bank so she said i dont want to keep doing this because im the one that has to return them and i said just do it ill return them this weekend so she agreed well the bank only had 140 dollars worth of halves but that was enuff i guess
she calls me awhile later and says the first roll she opened was almost all 1964s i said laughing yeah right on the phone i knew she was just messing with me and she said im not lying i tell you what i worked so fast to get out of work to get home to search the rest of the rolls
the first roll she opened contained 12 1964 and 5 1965-1969 halves in it the other 3 were 1971s after searching the rest of the rolls when i got home the total for 14 rolls was 15-1964s and 16-1965-1969 halves i still cant believe it the 1964s were in an older looking roll sleeve ill post a picture the newest coin in the roll that had silver in it was a 1998 so someone was hurting for cash and rolled up their savings
ill tell you what im gonna send her every time for now on
