It looks to me like you have an opportunity to do some numismatic research! Rulau's Latin American Tokens book shows three denominations (100, 50 & 10) of the Paraguay Land Cattle Co. in his "unattributed Paraguay" section with no further information except a note that "This token series may have been struck in England."

If indeed this token is from the country of Paraguay, rather than from elsewhere, there ought to be some information available on the company in the archives of Paraguay. Our United States, for instance, have records of corporations that sometimes are available online. If you can read the language, there may be corresponding sources in Paraguay. They may have a national archives or library that could help.
