Nice coppers,

Little tip on photos make them smaller and they will look better. Change the size of them.

Sweet coppers!!! :headbang: :icon_thumright: The smaller one is definitely a French Liard! :thumbsup: On a guess I'd say 1655-56?
 

Thanks for the ID! i had a really difficult time trying to find out what this coin was and the closest thing i could find was only close

The "D" mark signifies one of two mints: Lyon during the years 1693 through 1699 or the mint at Vimy during the years 1655 through 1657. I can't see enough to distinquish one from the other.

Where is that info. from? My book is D-Lyon for all of those years.
