I've been dying to post anything because of my crazy lobster work schedule right now. I'm up to 96 hours this week and still have two days to end the week yet. I very tiredly did a quick lunch break hunt and in the last couple of minutes dug a 1901 large cent and 1913 silver five cent piece. I'll take anything right now. Hope the winter stats mild so I can get out before the snow. Sorry the pictures suck but took them in a hurry. The coins are actually in great shape. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

Great that you clawed a few minutes to get a hunt in, nice going on the copper and the fishie.
Haven't heard anything on the prices for the lobsters this year, hope that you're getting a fair shake for them as the prices were really down over the years.

Nice quick hunt. I am amused by the idea of crazy lobsters, for some reason. Hope you get more time soon!

One of the medium orders we did.
1000 cartons x 30 lbs
= 30 000 lbs of lobster. Europe bound! [emoji27]

Here's a quick better photo of the large cent just to show how good of shape it came out of the ground in. I get a lot of rotten coppers around here.

I thought " rotten " was the only way coppers come:dontknow:. Nice looking finds. Hope they carry you over while you're busy. The snow will be flying before we want!

That looks like part of my finds today ; I got a large cent and fish scale too!
Great to hear you are able to get in a little bit of digging!
That's some pile of lobsters heading across; I fished with my dad for many years, that shipment represents a full season catch when I was pulling traps from over the side of the boat!

Man you guys got it made up there in Nova Scotia. Gotta love when your lunch break trumps my year. Lol. Great digs, and thanks for sharing. Cheers.

It is great up here for detecting but the worst part is for me everywhere I go I see spots that are just far enough away I'll never get the time to go because of work and family. I see foundations in yards/woods, stone walls, old orchards/fields, abandoned houses etc. It's great they are there to go to hopefully some day though and I bet 99.9% of the spots are virgin ground!
