Large cent, great detail

[Gridwalker306]

Tonight I hunted possibly the junkiest yard ever. It sounded like a solid iron carpet, peppered with mid-tone garbage. Needless to say I was quite frustrated. The only finds were a 12 penny spill consisting of memorial and Canadian pennies. Then, as I was leaving, by a big tree, under a nest of roots, this gorgeous 1913 large cent came out. I'm happy that I dug carefully, usually those coins from under root systems manage to get scratched up. This is my third and oldest large cent, and it sure redeemed my evening lol.

Sometimes roots hide the best things. It's like you're being tested to see just how bad you want that target
