Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Stopped at a old spot I must of hit 50 times..Treblehunter hit it with me at lest 5 of them times. Theres alot of iron in spots so I cracked out the deus put it in my fast program and bang!!! Started pulling out Indian heads left and right..7 total. .2 Being fattys 1860 and a 61..Then I got the LCs..1839 and a 1819 with a hole..My first large with a hole...And as you can see I also found a dice..Dont look like they finished it..Also a nice eagle with a anchor button..A couple civilian buttons..
Just before I left I got a quarter signal dug it and out popped out a naked girl...lol
I like that one...
Oh almost forgot about the half cent..
It was only 3inch down in a hole with 3 cut nails.. (Dont think any other detector would've got it.) Thought it was going to be date less. But got it home and could see the wreath on the back see the fraction 1 over 200..I thought no way not a nother 1802 but this time with the 1800 back..That would have been big bucks.
Well then the date came out 1800...
Oh well..I geuss ill take it...
Thanks for looking and hanging in there with this long boring story..
George

Ya know, George, I just never get bored hearing about nice finds. Looks like you won't have anything left
within the range of a poor ole ATP by the time I get up there. ;)

Nice!

Nice assortment of finds. You guess you'll take that draped bust? Ill take it any day. Laughing. I like that dice. Cool find.

Must be very encouraging to know that the Deus in the proper program could seriously open up all of your old sites. That's pretty damn impressive bro and I know for me personally there's a feeling of satisfaction when I pull the goods from among the trash and iron. It's not easy but lots of the good stuff is in the trash. You had an awesome hunt. Can you see a backmark on your button? Congrats man, Abe

Another two great days for you George. That place is by far my favorite. The second is where we felt we didn't find that much. Those two when you walk in, the beauty and the history just seeps into your bones. Good work with your golf bag, I'm right behind you someday with the same machines plus one you still don't have, my toy. I'll never forget walking into that place you were at today for the first time. Remember, my first large cent, two inches down next to that tree, you pulled one hell of a Draped Bust that day and schooled me on it. Don't forget who kept telling you there was more stuff there.

Great job, good thread!

You slayed that ground today! Nice thinking getting around that iron

-Happy Hunting!

That's quite an impressive collection of finds you got there!!! I like the draped bust....and the exposed bust!!! Hahaha that dice is too cool!!!!

What a great hunt! That Deus is an awesome machine!

Very nice group of finds. Great pictures

super nice finds, the only thing that I have ever found that is in your league is the token, but even then, yours has a slightly bigger bust LOL! mine was a real surprise although I would have preferred a silver coin. was wondering what you were up to and now I know. you tore up that ground with that deus, I have been drooling over those but it is but a dream.... oh well

My older brother had an identical "heads I win, tauils you lose " coin when I was about 7 years old. Yours is the second one I've ever seen.
Awesome finds.

Great finds, when I find the iron I spend a lot of time in there plucking the nectar as the T2SE is also a great machine to do so. Sweet finds George!

Awesome! :occasion18::blob9::occasion18: Love it all! Gilt button with flowers is my fave. You & your machine sure discover wonderful older coins! :icon_thumright:

I dug one of those heads & tails tokens, plus my first weekend with my detector went to a sand volleyball court & dug nearly a complete set of X-rated monthly horoscope tokens, very well-drawn. My daughter told me not to show them to my pre-teen grandsons, lol, so I didn't. :laughing7: Andi

I always enjoy going back to a site and pulling just one more great find from it but you tore it up, nice finds.
