I am looking for some online resource to ID a large 1.265" coin I found today. The coin has green patina so I believe it to be copper. I can just make out a date looks to be 1635. The side opposite the date I can clearly see a small open winged eagle with starred shield center. The eagle position is center lower 1/3rd of the coin. Also some kind of hammer or axes either side of coin. There is a lot of lettering the perimeter but cant make it out.
If anyone knows of a good site for reference a coin of this age please advise. Coin found Long Island NY.
Thanks
