Large piece of petrified wood found in Southeast Ohio creek bank. Too big to remove. Will have to take proper digging tools with me on return visit.

I found a 300+-pound piece of petrified wood in a creek while hunting artifacts. I rolled it back to my truck but could not lift it to get it in the truck and I had to get help to get it in my truck to get it home.

Well, it took me about 2 years to finally dig out that piece of petrified wood from Ohio and bring it home to Maryland. It is now resting in my garden. The base is about 8" under the ground. Weighs approximately 80 lbs,
I wish I was this determined I won’t even make a sandwich if the mustards behind the mayo in the fridge lol. glad you got it that’s a sweet find.
