large unidentified silver

old silver bit bigger than a large cent has a 6 or 9 on the side with less stars on it and the other side heas the letters DEI?hard to make out ... found in cental nj at old stage coach stop..did the best i could on photos, too concave for charcoal rubbing ... thanks for looking
