Last Couple Hunts

Got out for a couple hunts this past weekend. First site was a dance hall that burned down in the early 1900s...eyeballed the cut glass button here. Most interesting find at this site was an old fuse with a large cent fused into it...who knows, this may be the cause of the fire that leveled the site!

Second hunt was a site that has produced a lot of coppers and two more were added to the pile...two large Victorian penny tokens found together.

The Fused Copper,, now that's a story.
Sad thing is that it was a very unsafe and common practice with screw in fuses, and not that long ago.
