This a combination of the last couple of hunts from 2 spots. The first spot I hit was a return to the spot where I found the bug suspender. I dug up 2 buckles(1 with leather attached) a tombac, clothing rivet and a interesting brass piece. IMG_20171018_154435286_crop_865x597.webp I threw it in some peroxide to get the dirt off,it seemed to connect like a barrette on the backIMG_20171018_154636606_crop_520x516.webpIMG_20171018_154641652_crop_463x537.webp I didn't notice this at first until I gave it a gentle scrub with brasso but it's a women's face,Neat!!IMG_20171025_222600149_crop_665x693.webp
The next hunt wasn't as productive but I did manage a few items from a place I've hit 30+ times.IMG_20171031_082800435_crop_1040x475.webp A heel plate, the back part of a 2 piece cuff button,a Zippo lighter (no idea why I find these) and a buckle frame. It looks like it was a sling buckle? I can see on the back where the middle used to be.IMG_20171031_082809445_crop_494x687.webpIMG_20171031_082820744_crop_507x719.webp Happy Hunting everyone. Those in the Northeast, watch for those deer ticks!!!!

The buckle with the woman's face is an Art Nouveau sash buckle circa 1890-1910.

I love that face buckle. Looks like you were in an area where they discarded clothes. Sometimes I find a bunch of different ones in the same area. Congratulations, that is a beauty!!

Thanks! It was in a weird spot at the corner of the cellar hole but it's not a house but a large barn cellar.

Your sash buckle is a beauty! Congratulations!

Shouldn't the sash buckle have a matching other half?

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Congrats on getting out and saving some nice relics.
I like the art nouvea sash buckle.

Looks like a neat spot to spend your day at!
