Well been going to old parks and trying to slow down this weekend. Found a Military Challenge coin for Aerospace Ground Equipment technician. It's one of the first ones for AGE and is from the Viet Nam era. Now the kicker is I retired from the Air Force after 20 years in AGE. Next is a junk ring but coming out of the ground boy did it look good covered in dirt. Also found a junk rope design ring 1896 and 1903 IHP's 23 S and 27 Merc's an LA bus /Transit token. And today I got a 14KP (stands for PLUMB not plated) gold ring at 6 inches and a Silver unmarked but tested good wedding band at 8 inches. Thanks for looking

That would be a "retirement hunt" for me. Most of my hunts go like today's did. At an old swimming hole and get a quarter signal 9" down. Surely its silver if it is that deep I think to myself. Ground hard as a rock. Thirty minutes and 9" later I pull out a 2013 toasted state quarter. I tend to have a lot of "clad" days.

Heck of a hunt, congrats on the stellar finds!

Yeah today's hunt for 2 hours got the 2 wedding bands and 2 zincolns. Plus a pocket full of trash. In a hunted out park you got to dig the iffy stuff to get the treasure

Congrats on the gold!
