I've been busy as a one armed paper hanger. Selling my house, buying a house, moving, painting, and everything else that goes along with it. Got married. So I had a break in the action and squeezed in couple hunts. One by myself for about an hour or two at one of my farm permissions that I'm still scouting for hot spots. I found a couple buckles there and garbage/trash. Yesterday I met Scrappy and triple555 and we hit a different farm permission where Carolinatom and smittyman killed it finding 5 coppers. I found a cut piece of a copper coin

Scrappy found some buttons and Triple555 found a V nic and a musket ball.

Enjoy the pix

So many fields, so little time. I look forward to hunting in the water with you. Think of a spot we can use my boat and go there this summer. I'm going to go talk with that farmer about when they will do a deep turnover plow. Most of my farms they only till them they don't plow for years? I always enjoy our hunts, I wish Abe had time to come down and hunt like a gentleman and not like a daredevil caveman. If he is not at least falling off of cliffs or getting stung by bees to send him in anaphylaxic shock.

Abe IS a caveman out there. Sometimes it’s fun to just stop, take a seat, and watch him go move boulders and lift trees twice his weight. But he likes to stay in Maine - a bit of an enigma - where nobody is quite sure if he really exists. Does he live in a house or in the woods? Is he 7’ tall and look like Wookiee? Nobody really knows....

Interesting choice for a honeymoon!??? :tongue3:

Very well done Brad!

I saw Scrappy's pics from the place yesterday... brought back memories.

The barrel tap piece is really sweet.

Best of luck to you sir, and I hope to see you soon.

Sounds like fun with friends! Congrats on getting out after hitched...

Some nice digs!
Thank you

Is that more busy than a one legged ant on a sugar hill? :laughing7:

Looks like some early stuff. Keep hitting it when you can.
Thanks, times running out, the fields will be planted soon, I'll hunt some more when I can.

Hi. Congrats on some nice finds:icon_thumleft:
Thank you, nice just being out in the sun.

Good to see you made some much needed time for a hunt. Congrats on the Mrs, house, and the finds.
You got that right pepperj, was nice to get out. Thank you

Our real honeymoon will come after all the work, settlement of new house, settlement of old house and moving back and forth are done. I was not metal detecting on my honeymoon night Mr. stumbles in the corn. Besides my wedding anniversary date is March 1st not March 11th, how long was your honeymoon?

Thanks bud, I've got to the point that I'd rather hunt with my friends then by myself.

I've got a guest room in the new crib with a new queen size bed in it. You should come visit, you would love the soybean fields, no corn stalks to stumble over!

I don't get around much anymore, but, who knows ?
Maybe after the Nor-Easters finally give it up! :BangHead:
We'll see. :occasion14:

Good scouting there. You are hot on the trail for some cool finds. Don't get too busy and skip your therapy mate.

Very nice finds! Congratulations

Things are getting pretty busy again, I've got a few days I could get in a few good hunts, then back to the grind. The work makes the play that much sweeter. Thanks Kurios

Very nice finds! Congratulations
