Made it out Friday and chipped through two inches of frozen ground for a few finds. I did find a 47 rosie,2 wheats , 45 cents in clad, and some brass things.

Too bad that $1 wasn't a $100 bill. That would have been a nice Christmas gift.

Winter is definitely one of the downsides to metal detecting here in the great north. About the only place left to go is to brave the cold waters until they freeze over too. :tongue3:

That was the coldest I ever hunted in. I have not try the water in the summer, winter would be a no go. LOl
