Last hunt on street tear out

I had to go work at 10 am on Sunday, so I got up early and when to street tear out my signal was a 10-46/ 11-47, I was thinking a freaking can and out pops out quater size copper after look I know what it was a1/4 copper Mexican reale. Well I had to go work and after work stop again hit hard but good was chicken button my second from this street tear out. I noticed that crubs were up so I'm thinking they going to finish up this week. I could a date on my as 1846

Very nice finds, I have never tried a tear out, do you normally find them pretty productive? I am still new at this and am on a quest to learn as much as I can, metal detection is very restrictive where I live so I am always looking for new options.

Nice Hunt, I found one of those 1/4 reals a couple weeks ago and it is a half way rare coin!! Congrats! :)

I have the same shovel, absolutely deadly for digging a clean plug or cutting through large roots. :icon_thumleft:
