so i grab the 202 and get heading to a old home site iv worked a Lil bit. was not disappointed managed some keepers, 1944x2, 1945x2, 1945d, wheat's. and pulled my very 1st war nickle a nice 1942s, and a nice 2 1/2 cent token and a Procter & gamble token!! this has been a week for tokens 4 so far. best of digs to all and remember USE OIL NOT DOPE!!!!!!!!!! MR TUFF

I know they call grease pipe dope in the oil field. Maybe that's what they are referring too... good job

No. Actually, businesses sometimes set prices of drinks at 2 1/2 cents so that a visitor would pay with a nickel and got a token back as change that could only be redeemed at that business. It would be like your favorite restaurant double charging you for your lunch, then telling you to come back that the next meal of equal value was "on the house." Clever ploy, this was.
