Always nice to see a pic of what it once looked like, makes it come to life again, great find and ID too.

Heck of a find. Anyway to go back and possibly find the hammer and trigger assembly?

Thats Awesome,
Really neat find there!
Bet that sounded like a Silver Dollar? Haha

It's been my experience those pieces are rusted away, gone forever. When I hunt in the water, even almost brand new fishing lures, the hooks have rusted away, sometime they will still be there but crumble away to nothing when I touch them.

I'll be back there again. I already looked in that area pretty good, I'll be back, like Arnold said in the terminator!
Thanks

Very nice find! Looks like it was deep to. Congrats!

Cool find brad, very neat to get an i.d. on it too

Don't wanna highjack your post, but here is some hope for finding the hammer!
