ThanksAlways nice to see a pic of what it once looked like, makes it come to life again, great find and ID too.
It's been my experience those pieces are rusted away, gone forever. When I hunt in the water, even almost brand new fishing lures, the hooks have rusted away, sometime they will still be there but crumble away to nothing when I touch them.Heck of a find. Anyway to go back and possibly find the hammer and trigger assembly?
I actually was thinking 8 realeThats Awesome,
Really neat find there!
Bet that sounded like a Silver Dollar? Haha
10-12 inches, thanksVery nice find! Looks like it was deep to. Congrats!
I love getting an ID! ThanksCool find brad, very neat to get an i.d. on it too
I'll be back, who knows, might be some ammo near by?Don't wanna highjack your post, but here is some hope for finding the hammer!
