Hello
I found this rock written on it (LIMS).It was in a vertical position within the ground
and the site was part of the Roman civilization in North Africa.
What does this Latin word mean?

Could be a survey marker of some sort. The letters may not be a word. "LIM" means "1049" in Roman Numerals. The numbers wouldn't be a date because the Romans were long gone from there in 1049. The "S" may be an abbreviation for something.
